Here at Glassbrooks solicitors we offer a variety of ways in which a matter can be funded. Many clients have existing legal expenses insurance commonly included within household insurance or as an extra in other insurances.
Even if you do not have existing insurance we can still offer our services to you either as a private paying client where a cost is fixed between us by agreement or under the terms of a conditional fee agreement, or as you might know it, a ‘no win no fee’ agreement.
We expect to be able to agree with you the most suitable method of funding your claim where we can work together knowing exactly what the cost position is from the outset of the matter through to the end.
In many cases we will provide a fixed cost for our services which will be agreed with you before work is started; this applies particularly in matters such as conveyancing, property and contract legal advice.
Where it is not possible to provide a precise quote we will provide you with an expected cost and controlled costings so you will never receive an unexpected legal bill.
For certain types of litigation and where alternative funding is not available we can offer conditional fee agreements or what is better known as “no win no fee” agreements. In some type of case you can pay your legal fees as a percentage of your compensation.
From 1 April 2013 some changes have been made to court rules regarding compensation payments for personal injury cases. This allows claimants to use part of the compensation to pay the legal fees. We would be happy to discuss this with you in more detail.
Are you involved in the RNLI? Then you can benefit from a 10% discount on our services. To find out more just give us a call.
